Recording Session – Day Two
Having a blast producing/recording Mark Comstock and his super group (Mark Comstock: vocals & acoustic guitar, Gary Sangenitto: bass, Bill Flores: electric guitar/accordion/lap steel, Alan Bond: mandolin, Casey Jones: drums). They’ve taken over my house… beautiful instruments, lots of cables, killer microphones, great songs…
Live at Soho – Nov. 18

I’ll be playing an acoustic set with Michelle Beauchesne on cello November 18th at Soho in Santa Barbara. We’ll be opening for Toad the Wet Sprocket‘s Glen Phillips. We go on around 8:00pm and will play about a half hour set. I’m looking forward to playing and seeing Glen play too!
Live at Soho – Sep. 30

I played very fun show at Soho in Santa Barbara on September 30th. For those of you who came – Thank you very much! I played a handful of songs acoustically with cellist Michelle Beauchesne, followed by a set with the full band.
A friend of mine happened to video snippets here and there with his little Canon point-and-shoot camera. I’m attaching one in this post, but you can view all of the video clips here.
Vote for Sean McCue!
The Santa Barbara Independent is having a battle of the bands that I’d like to be a part of. Would you like to vote for me as one of your three favorite Santa Barbara bands/singer/songwriters!? I would certainly appreciate it 🙂 It’s as simple as going here http://www.independent.com/bands/ and putting a check by Sean McCue and two other artists for the vote to count. Easy. Simple. Fun even. Tell your friends if you would.
There are some cool artists to check out on that page along with complete mp3s of songs.
Thank you!
Gig at THE JOINT – Los Angeles
I will be playing a show at the Joint in Los Angeles August 11 at 3:00pm as a part of the International Pop Overthrow music festival. It will be a rocking 30 minute set. I hope to see you there!
Summercamp plays the Fuji Rock Festival (1997)
Here are some videos of my previous band Summercamp playing the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. This was one of my favorite shows that I played due to the fact that it was to an audience of ~ 30,000 people – it was during a typhoon – we opened for the Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine and The Red Hot Chili Peppers… it was quite a rush.
