I recently acquired a Blackstar HT-5 amp for recording. This is an awesome small tube guitar amplifier with a huge sound. I made a very short recording to test the heavy distortion tone.

For this test I was playing a Framus Renegade guitar straight into the amp. I put a Bock 195 microphone in front and ran that through a Grace 801 preamp.
