I wrote and recorded a song from scratch the other night for a scene in a film where the producers were looking for some music that would amplify a montage sequence where two people are falling for each other.
I was given a couple of examples of what they are after, and this song arrived around 11:00pm and was basically finished and recorded around 2:00am. This is not something I would typically write, and I do enjoy these writing challenges for this very reason.
